today we editing the music video. We are making sure the green screen part is fitting in the video perfectly. also we are going to make that the music video is going to be finished.

we used a camera which was £700 and a tripod which was £20.

Today we going to finish editing the music video. We have also shorten the clips to attention of the audience. Last Thursday we filmed the final part of the video of Munshea dancing in the gym we also have learn to add the green screen effect in our music video and we have used it in our music video.

08/12/11

today we are going to carry on with our editing our music video. one problem that is coming up is the lack of progress because the Macs keep crashing. by next week 15/12/11 we will our business the per production elements. we have used different camera angles and shots and clips to keep the attention on the young audience.

as a group i think Haris Zulfiqar thinks that we have worked extremely hard this term to complete a music video. He would also want the group to achieve a decant grade which they deserve.

During this unit we have learned how to use adobe premier pro CS4. Haris Umair has been helping with the camera work and has also participated in the music video by rapping/singing.  Munshea has has been the dancer in the music and has also edit the music video and also sang in some parts of the video also he helped with the camera work. i have also done some of the camera work as well as the clipper to know when to stop and start.

Haris Z was also the director,camera man and produced the music video.

Today we are going to carry on editing the music video.  we should be able to finish editing the video in the next few lessons.we have used short clips according to the beat to help keep attention to our target audience. we also are going to try uploading our video on to YouTube. we are going to retake some shots to make it more appropriate to our music video. Also we are using clips from YouTube to help us inspire to creativity.

We are planning to use black and white effects in the music video from Adobe premiere pro, we will use this to make some part different to the rest of the video.
 we are planning to use black and white effects on Munashe parts when he is dancing and haris U part, we going to use tint red.

today we are going to edit the music video using adobe premiere.  we also added pictures of the sky, land and sea. we also shorten the shots because  this will help keep the attention of the  young audience that will be interested in our music video. also we imported a live image of the sea while the sun is setting.

 this a discontinues music video which means that its not in order  and the same played is shown several time through out the video this is good because the auideance  stay interested in watch  . most of the scenes are no longer than 2 or 3 seconds this is not be make the video boring. the narrative in this video is that they are madly in love that they don't care about the bad things that are happening around them but in the end Rhianna leaves because she cant take it anymore.

through out the video there are random shot drugs and cigarettes. Also there are shots where the color ash of the cigarettes changes this could be hallucination. also in starting of the video they show all the good times they had together, in the middle of the video they show they bad things but they are still together but in the end of the video she leaves.

this shot in the music video shows that they are in a fish n chips shop and that is a hopeless place to find love. also the part where they are in a casino and they are gambling they money even though they lose their money  they still  enjoying that moment.

today we are going filming with a green screen. The part that we are filming is Munshea dancing. 

chroma key definition

This is a way of combining two images together. you put together two videos then you remove one of the track which makes it transparent. The green and blue is chosen because they are opposite to the skin color you can also use different colors but these seem to be the best. the actor also has to wear the opposite colors to screens color unless you want that part to disappear. this technique is also refereed to as color key. its also important to have even lighting on the background because shadows make it difficult to see the full image in the finial scene.

they will be doing a performance videos. most of the shots will be close shots. the location will be outside Belgrade theater and in a car park because they want to make it look like a rock performance video. casual clothes for the music video. there is message or moral behind the video its just a performance video. 

Overall i think its a good idea and the song suits the video. i think it's a good idea and they presentation was good.

today's plans

today we are going to decide on the narrative in the music video and also what it should be about. then we are going to be doing a story board.
the camera shots that we are going to be using are:
close up shot
over shoulder shot
medium shot
long shot
and many other shots.
the roles in the team are Haris z and myself  and going be behind the camera but also we are going to be doing the narrtive part in the video. Haris U is going to be rapping the song and Munashe and dancing to the song. the song that we chose is called Beautiful Lasers by Lupe Fiasco. the rapping is going to on the top of stringer and the dancing is going to be in the theater and the narrative we are still thinking about where to film it.                                                      

today i finished the mood board. Also instead of starting the story board we are going to writing about mi-son-sen because we cant think on how to start the story board yet. at the end of the lesson we talked about doing the mi-son-sen next lesson and try to do the story board.

Haris u and Munashe decided to change the song song because the song freeze had a music video so changed it back to beautiful lasers and we are hoping not to change it again.

location and risk of assessment

.Today we are carrying on with our music videos we are going to write about the risk factors of the two location which are the in the theater and the other location is on top of Sidney Stringer. The risk assessment of when we are filming on top of the school are going to be we need to make sure that no one falls of the building so we need good communication.

we also decided to change the song first we chose the song called beautiful lasers but then Munashe couldn't dance properly because it was hard to dance to the beat so we changed it to Chris brown freeze. the risk assessment of the theater no smoking, also their is health and safety rules so you need to be careful with the wires and lights. we are also planning the story board and the mood board. Also we are planning on what costumes we are going to be wearing depending on what type of music it is.                       

Music video

Our video is going to be a performance video with munashe being the person and haris u rapping. Munashe is going to be dancing. the music is called Beautiful lasers by Lupe Fiasco. the location is going to in the theater this is because their are good facilities their for example lighting. Also we thought that we should have a bit narrative in the video so we are going to have me and hairs z fighting. Also we are setting the dance bit of the video in the theater and the singing bit is going to be on top of stringer we also might use the green screen to make the video look better but we aren't sure if the school has a green screen.  So overall we decided that Munashe is going to dancing, hairs u singing and kashif and hairs z going to doing the camera work, designs and the narrative acting.

Today what i learnt was that there are three types of music videos. Story, performance and concept videos. Also we worked in groups to find music without any video to it. the three videos i chose were Nickel back, Kayne west power and the third i haven't chosen yet. the song we had to choose had to appropriate to the topic.

Clothes/Make up
the clothes that the person was wearing normal everyday working clothes this suggest that the video is going to be about normal everyday events but as you  watch the video it shows that its not normal. the man wears a suit which that he is organised and likes to look smart.
Locations
the location where the video is set is in a empty hotel with chairs and table in the background. this suggest that either he is lonely because the hotel is empty or that he can do whatever he wants because nobody's there.
Lighting
through out the video the lighting is high key this suggets that the video is going to be joyful and happy.
Actor movements/expressions
the actors movements are different through out the video. in the starting of the video the man is sitting but as the video goes on he gets up and stats to dance and fly around this could suggets that he could be dreaming because a real perosn cant fly around the room. the experssion on his face in the starting of the video he looks tired and ill but as the video moves on he starts to get a smile on his face.

This is a dance type of video. overall i think the video  looks quiet good. this is because i the starting the video looked boring as you watch on it gets intresting and funny.

florence and the machine mise-en-scene

Through the whole video the lighting is high key light. the girl was wearing a pale dress which suggest its natural which relates to the background setting. Also the use fruit for example grapes which suggest wine or life so she might be about to give her own life. the location where this set is in a nice park/field. the impression that you get is the video is going to about something joyful.

She also wearing wearing lose cloths this suggest that she is free. the costume and the hair in this video are:the girls hair is bright gold which suggest she is a good person and she is special person also the redness in her hair could suggest anger or hatred. Also their facial expression are all happy and joy full even though they are about to sacrifice the girl so the picnic turns into a funeral.

 The color of the video is very bright this is because the was made during a hot day when the sun was out also the producer could also have set the brightness this high himself to make the characters more visible.they made the video next to a lake this is because at the end of the video when they are about to sacrifice the girl they put the girls body in the river.
